Meet Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities
This year as we celebrate 20 years of helping businesses thrive, Arvada Center is celebrating 40 years of enriching our community. It is a privilege to share milestone anniversaries with our very first client.
Forty years ago Arvada Center began as a place to preserve local history. Thanks to forward-thinking citizens, it expanded to become a multidisciplinary facility that is now a model for arts centers across the nation.
According to the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts, Arvada Center now ranks as one of the top ten cultural attractions in metro Denver and is one of the leading employers of creative people in Colorado. Through its diversity of programming, continuous commitment to the under served and nationally recognized services for individuals with challenges, the Arvada Center welcomes more than 300,000 visitors annually.
The Center’s year-round programming offers professional theatre, children’s theatre, education classes and outreach for all ages, music and dance concerts in its main stage and outdoor amphitheater, and visual art exhibitions in three galleries.
The acclaimed Arvada Center is dedicated to enriching, inspiring and educating people of all ages. At DreamWise we have been honored to support the Arvada Center’s fundraising and communication efforts for 20 years and we look forward to many more years to come!
Please join is in celebrating our 20th Anniversary and supporting our community by voting for Arvada Center or one of the other nonprofits near and dear to our hearts.
Donations for the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will go toward supporting arts education programming. The Center serves more than 70,000 children each year through our school programs, camps, and workshops. Donations will help us purchase paints, clay, colored pencils, paper, glue, beads, scissors, easels and many other art supplies used in these classes. At the Center, we believe that artistic expression is possible at any age, and we begin working with children as young as 3 years old to help them explore the visual arts, music, and dance.
